Dola Pham is a licensed lawyer whose entire career has run through organisations that process personal data at national scale. At VNG Corporation, Vietnam's first technology unicorn, he headed legal for Zalo Group: the messaging, payment and digital-entertainment ecosystem serving more than 70 million users. His portfolio covered the full span of digital products: platforms, social networks, online games, e-commerce, advertising, cloud and data centers, payments and e-wallets, fintech, IoT, copyright and telecommunications.

Four responsibilities defined that tenure: leading personal data protection for the whole VNG Group; leading litigation and dispute resolution; corporate restructuring across the Zalo ecosystem; and drafting internal policy while commenting on related legislative drafts, which gives him a working read of the regulator's intent behind the text. He currently serves as Associate Director of Legal & Compliance at one of Vietnam's leading listed conglomerates (consumer–retail), coordinating compliance across multiple legal entities and tens of millions of loyalty customers.
